On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies
In this two-part series, we will reproduce Einstein's 1905 papers on special relativity. In the departure briefing, we will review the key experiments including stellar aberration, Fizeau experiment, and Michelson Morley experiment that Einstein needed to explain, and theories predated Einstein's work including Fresnel's partial ether dragging and Lorentz local time and length contraction. In the arrival section, we layout the reproduced paper based on 'On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies' and 'Does the Inertia of a Body Depend Upon Its Energy Content'.
